Silver grains dance in excitement, freezing on film the world in front of the camera. The light of the landscape needs no encore, existing in the wind and winter, thriving through the thaw. Photographs are windows into light that has been, guiding us to more, to create the space we inhabit.
I am driven by curiosity, and the moments I am part of. The reverence I have for the landscapes inspires the finished pieces. And my connection with nature challenges the limits of my art-form.
Advertising
Print / Video / Web
I have worn many hats since the early 2000's. I have worked with commercials, advertising, film, print, websites, promotional materials, branding. There are few parts that I have not experienced and learned from in the last 15 years. I have assisted photographers, been behind the scenes helping with production, and have taken the lead in producing, photographing and lighting. I have followed products and projects all the way to their completion and outlets. I have learned and been inspired by some of the industries best, and am always ready to be a part of and raise the level of production on any given project.

The details matter and come alive: the way the light shimmers, the colors that merge with a product. Each product is unique, each photo set up is different. I have worked to light and create the look of products in many ways over the years. Product is an essential part of many companies, and to have their products displayed in the right light is special.

Telling Their Story

Everyone that I've meet has a story, a reason that they are. I'm interested in others story and enjoy finding ways of telling their stories. The approach changes to each situation, finding how bring out the heart of a story. Connection is what life is about; a process of learning, living, and connecting with others.
BIO
I grew up in the country surrounded by alfalfa fields, listening to the coyotes sing. I was 13 when I picked up a camera in earnest. I have been searching and discovering what is before me ever since.

I attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara CA, and then followed my passion of image and composition to Los Angeles. I began my time in LA following stunts and began photography and videography professionally. I learned branding, character development and story progression working in the commercial, advertising, tv, and film industries.

More recently I have been delving into my poetry and music composition. I have found my voice in many different mediums, and I'm looking forward to whats next.
